Jaiden Dunbar

Jaiden Grey Dunbar (born June 22, 2007) is an avant-garde visionary and American filmmaker. Dunbar is most commonly known for his works including: Conspiracies (2022), THE COVERT (2024), Screw Loose (2025), and Sly’s Pack (2026). Initially from San Jose, California, he discovered his love for filmmaking at the age of 5. Over the course of the 14 years, undergoing familial hardships, he educated himself on every aspect the filmmaking world had to offer. Over the years, he’s made various short films enhancing the spotlight towards his career slowly but surely. Dunbar co-wrote and directed LENS (2024), alongside Allie Ayala and Ayush Sodani, winning “Honorable Mention” for the EVHS Film Festival. His next work as a writer-director was THE COVERT (2024), followed more notably by Screw Loose (2025). The film was inspired and based on a previous work by co-writers Charlie Prasek and Kalynn Doyle. Over the winter of 2025, he began the process of developing an audio-drama adaptation of Kazu Kibuishi’s best-selling comic book series, “Amulet” for his step-sister Kailee Mila, transforming his simple sound editing tests into an overnight holiday success. It is now an annual holiday screening tradition for the family.

After graduating from Evergreen Valley High School in 2025, he traveled 3,000 miles to Savannah, Georgia to turn his lifelong passion for the cinematic arts into a long-term professional career. He currently serves as a film and television major attending the Savannah College of Art and Design.
