A classically trained actress, Sarah has worked on both stage and screen, most famously playing lead roles in films, Ten Little Indians - (Donald Pleasance, Herbert Lom, Frank Stallone) and The River of Death - (Robert Vaughan, Donald Pleasance, L.Q. Jones, Michael Dudikoff) amongst others.
Following 3 years at drama school (late '80s) she worked first in Theatre (Love off the shelf - Nuffield Southampton; The School for Scandal - Plymouth Theatre Royal; The Importance of Being Earnest - Cathay Pacific touring theatre company), and enjoyed roles in popular 1990s TV sit-coms, notably Law and Disorder - (Penelope Keith), and Freddie and Max (Anne Bancroft).
After a (long!) sabbatical from acting, during which she saw her two boys safely into teenage neanderthalism, (they're still there) and formed her Jazz/Blues quintet called, imaginatively - The Sarah Ward Jazz Quintet, Sarah has delightedly returned to her first passion - acting and being someone else!
